Qns: You were asked to make predictions and deductions based on your observations from the video and experiment. Comment on 1 of the questions below: 1) How well you did in using prior knowledge and pairing it up with observations to come up with a solution. OR 2) Whether prior knowledge was crucial for solving the problem for today.
Ans:
I think that prior knowledge was crucial for solving today's problem.
1. This is because if I do not know any prior knowledge, I will be at a lost of what to do. No matter what my team mates tries to explain, I might not be able to get it either. Therefore it is important that I have some prior knowledge of the topic before I can solve the problem.
2. When I have prior knowledge, I will be able to finish things in half-time. Many things will be solved without having to go through long explanation.
3. When I have the prior knowledge, I will be able to assist the team in doing the experiment. For example, zero-error, parallax error and many other errors that one may have. Therefore, with prior knowledge is crucial for solving the problem for today. I hope I have answered you. =)
